$USUAL #usual The Truth: USUAL CIRCULATION VS ISSUANCE No, Usual will not stop minting until March 2025 Usual is not ‘capped’ at 494M token. The number $494M was the total allocation on December 18th 2024 between Binance (300M) and other ecosystems (194M). This was Usual Protocol allocating initial circulation for us, the investors on Launchpool. Total Supply: The maximum supply of USUAL tokens is capped at 4 billion, intended to be distributed over a period of four years > 2028 Usual is one of 4 tokens in the Usual Protocol: USD0 (stablecoin) USD0++ (liquid staked USD0) USUAL (Value token) USUALX (Staked Usual) Minting of USUAL Tokens • Each time someone stakes USD0, the TVL grows as shown on the website (currently $1.76B), a corresponding amount of USD0++ is minted, it also triggers the issuance of corresponding USUAL tokens. • The number of USUAL tokens minted correlates with the staked USD0. Summary USUAL will continue to be distributed as rewards until 2028 to USUALX holders, at a frequency depending on the growth of TVL (Total Value Locked). So, no, Usual will not stop minting until 2028. If you want ‘free’ Usual, all you have to do is stake them as UsualX on the platform at 270% APR (currently).

$USUAL #usual We should see a bounce to the $1.2 area. Especially leading up to January 7th for the Usualx reward switch. I was honestly surprised it dipped below $1 in recent days, especially since $USD0 is only $500M market cap away from FUSD = $2.2B

Indeed low circulation, and the 2M daily unlock would only add $2-3M in possible sell pressure per day, with a volume of $200-300M. Nice post 👍

Buffet is right, but you translated this into shorting into a bull run. Timing also plays a part, and selling = shorting anyway. Prob no need to risk SL

$USUAL the Cup & Handle failed. However, upwards momentum is only delayed because if USUAL breaks $1.35 and stays above, a stronger VV formation is in play. I see $1.6 - $1.9 - $2.3 short term. No futures only spot game. Talks about US longer term bond yields are only a narrative, the cycle for $BTC is intact and we haven’t seen the FOMO which typically accompanies vertical price gains.
