Deep Tide TechFlow News, on December 30, according to Handelsblatt, Christian Lindner, the chairman of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) and former finance minister, called for the European Central Bank (ECB) and the German Federal Bank to include cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin in their reserves.

He mentioned that the U.S. government is adopting an aggressive policy on crypto assets, and Washington is even considering the possibility of the Federal Reserve incorporating crypto assets alongside currency and gold in its reserves. Lindner stated that Europe needs to avoid being surpassed by the U.S. in this area and suggested reviewing the inclusion of crypto assets as part of reserves in Frankfurt to enhance the resilience of reserves against risks. He emphasized that crypto assets currently account for a significant proportion of global wealth growth.
