Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin predicted the start of the altcoin season in early 2025, and analyst Michael van de Poppe agreed with him.
"I think Bitcoin dominance has peaked, and over the next few months, altcoins will start to outpace BTC in terms of growth. We will finally see a real altcoin season soon," Buterin said.
Michael believes that in early 2025, investors will withdraw capital from the Bitcoin ecosystem and invest money in Ethereum.
This will serve as an impetus for the start of the altcoin season, during which the rate of ETH and many other alternative BTC digital assets will increase significantly.
