According to Foresight News and reported by The Miner Mag, the Bitcoin mining pool Foundry USA Pool has refunded a 'mistakenly' paid transfer of 8.18 BTC, valued at approximately $777,000.
Previously, Foundry USA Pool mined Bitcoin block 875475, which included a transaction where the sender attached a fee of 8.18 BTC, exceeding the necessary fee by 91127 times. Subsequently, Foundry tweeted that it had contacted the sender and is considering refunding the transaction fee to the sender.
