For Teng, it was a key year regarding the development of regulations worldwide, with a special focus on MiCA, the regulation proposed by the European Union (EU) to regulate crypto assets. In this sense, he noted that, probably, Donald Trump's victory in the United States elections will bring new developments in crypto legislation next year.

Developments in crypto regulation from the new United States government are expected in 2025, which will encourage greater crypto participation throughout the market, he elaborated. At the same time, he emphasized the potential of a Strategic Reserve of bitcoin in the North American country, which could be a significant development and lead many other countries to do the same.
