Cryptocurrency exchange Uphold has added the RLUSD stablecoin to its trading platform, raising the profile of Ripple and driving adoption of the product and other products related to the fintech company.
In a recent podcast, Uphold CEO Simon McLoughlin outlined the cryptocurrency exchange’s latest moves to list the stablecoin, highlighting a rewards program that will allow users to earn 5% on their RLUSD deposit starting in January 2025.
McLoughlin went on to say that the RLUSD rewards program is the latest in a line of stablecoin-related earning opportunities that Uphold is offering. Registered Uphold users must log in at least once a month and perform certain actions to qualify for the rewards.
Meanwhile, Uphold’s CEO explained that the rewards are a marketing strategy the company uses to attract users and encourage their activity on the platform. $BTC $XRP $GMT
