Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has seen his fortune rise significantly after the price of its XRP token surged from $0.50 to $2.32 following the election.
According to CoinMarketCap, XRP has gained 54.7% over the past 30 days, making it the third-largest digital asset by market cap.
Ripple donated $73 million, while Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) contributed $70 million, including amounts reserved for the next election cycle in 2026.
According to a report from CoinDesk, Garlinghouse owns more than 6% of Ripple and a significant but undisclosed amount of XRP tokens. This has put him on the list of the top billionaires in the United States.
Garlinghouse’s stake in XRP has more than tripled since the token’s price surge, leading to a significant increase in his personal wealth.
On the other hand, Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz of a16z, who have multiple stakes in crypto companies, also made profits that exceeded their investments in US political projects after the election date.$BTC $SOL $XRP #BtcNewHolder
