Bitwise, an issuer of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), has filed to launch a new fund that includes stocks of publicly traded companies that hold significant amounts of Bitcoin. The Bitwise Bitcoin Standard Corporations ETF will invest in companies that own at least 1,000 Bitcoins and have adopted the “Bitcoin standard.” Companies in the ETF must have a market cap of at least $100 million, average daily liquidity of $1 million, and a free float of less than 10%. Bitwise’s fund will be weighted by the market value of companies’ Bitcoin treasuries. Share your thoughts in the comments.
