Bitcoin has struggled to reach the $100,000 mark, causing its value to drop sharply below $96,000. Following the recent FOMC meeting, Bitcoin experienced a significant correction from $108,000 down to $92,000, but has since recovered to nearly $100,000 on Christmas Eve. However, rejection at this level pushed the price lower, with the market capitalization falling below $1.9 trillion.
Altcoins have also been heavily impacted, with ETH dropping below $3,400 and other coins like ADA, AVAX, LINK losing up to 9%. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization decreased by over $100 billion, down to $3.460 trillion. 📉
