According to TechFlow news on December 26, on-chain detective ZachXBT revealed that Animoca co-founder Yat Siu may have encountered the same phishing email attack that previously targeted several X accounts including Kick, Cursor, and The Arena, as the scam tokens were deployed from the same address.
Previously reported, a hacker has carried out scams by compromising over 15 X accounts in the past month, involving well-known accounts such as Kick, Cursor, Alex Blania, The Arena, and Brett. The hacker initiated phishing by sending emails disguised as copyright infringement complaints from the X team, stealing user credentials, and launching a Meme coin scam project, accumulating profits of approximately $500,000.
