Interest in LTC has grown significantly in December

Litecoin is back in the spotlight in the futures market, showing interest that hasn’t been seen since March 2024. Open contracts reached almost $500 million last week, indicating a significant increase in activity among traders.

The coin has soared above $100, with many analysts predicting that it could rise to $150 by December. Litecoin is currently struggling to overcome key resistance at $110.

Network data for 2024 shows that an average of 401,000 addresses were active daily, up from 2023. In January, the number of active addresses reached a record 1.37 million.

After the price increase, the share of profitable addresses was 75.87%, while 15.57% of Litecoin holders remain in the loss zone.
