A hacker has compromised 15 X (formerly Twitter) accounts, stealing approximately $500,000 through memecoin phishing scams, as reported by blockchain investigator ZachXBT. The attacker impersonated the X team, sending fake copyright infringement notices to trick users into visiting phishing sites, leading to account takeovers. The stolen funds were laundered between Solana and Ethereum networks. Users are advised to use unique email addresses and enable two-factor authentication to enhance security.
