According to ChainCatcher, Crypto.com has announced the launch of a sports event prediction market in the United States, allowing American customers to bet on sports events using various cryptocurrencies, starting with the Super Bowl. If predictions are correct, payments can be received within one business day after settlement.
Company spokesperson Matt David stated that the product will leverage Crypto.com's recognition among American sports fans to serve an increasing number of cryptocurrency traders who want to bet on real-world event outcomes.
David said: "Sports have always been an important part of our brand, from F1 to UFC to Crypto.com Arena, this is a great opportunity to engage these sports fans in the Crypto.com app."
