Can altcoins bottom out now?
Yesterday, there was a rebound driven by the rise of pnut, which led to a wave of increases in meme coins, such as neiro, pepe, and act, all of which also rebounded. I must say, this round of altcoins has indeed been quite difficult to endure, but we are about to enter January soon, and persistence will lead to victory.
For those experienced old hands who have gone through the previous 312 and 94, this round of adjustment shouldn't cause too much panic, because everyone knows that even if it doesn't rally now, there will definitely be a rally in the first quarter of next year. Moreover, Trump will officially take office in January next year, and there will be a significant wave of speculation before that.
Many newcomers are worried that this round of adjustments is too much, and whether this bull market can only break even or might not break even at all. In fact, we can refer to the rise from the beginning of this year to March and the surge last month. Therefore, as long as the market starts to rally, it will be quick. Earlier this year, it was basically tenfold in a week. Recently, even the large-cap XRP has already risen fourfold from the bottom. For smaller market caps, once the market starts, achieving a tenfold increase is not a problem, so there’s no need to worry about not making a profit. In a scenario where the market is continuously declining, the big players also cannot offload their positions due to lack of trading volume and depth. So everyone can rest assured; the winter solstice has passed, how far can spring be?
Finally, after the Federal Reserve's interest rate meeting, I personally believe that the market should not see any major negative news in the near future. The market is already preparing for no interest rate cuts in January and March next year. As long as no new negative news appears, the space for Bitcoin's decline will be quite limited.
In times of insufficient market liquidity, it all depends on market sentiment. As long as someone sells, the price may continue to fall; hence, no one can predict where the bottom is. We can't buy at the lowest point; we can only lower our average holding price through phased buying. This operational method can allow us to buy at a relatively low price.
