The current trend in the cryptocurrency market still depends on the performance of BTC and ETH, especially as BTC breaks past its previous highs and approaches $100,000, while ETH has yet to break its previous high, leaving the current altcoin market full of uncertainty.
If BTC continues to rise and ETH performs better than BTC, it might drive a general rise in altcoins, but given the current liquidity, I remain skeptical about this. Conversely, if ETH continues to be sluggish, the season for altcoins may not materialize, and we might only see a few strong coins occasionally showing some bright performance.
If BTC performs flat, the market can hardly expect the liquidity of BTC to shift towards altcoins, especially considering the current liquidity and policy environment.
Institutional investors remain focused on BTC, while ETH's ETF appears insignificant in comparison. The scale of value coins and the VC market is growing larger, with market capitalization soaring and facing significant unlocking pressure, making the limited liquidity insufficient to drive up altcoins. Therefore, in this environment, the strong performance of altcoins still requires more driving factors.
