A map to analyze $BTC , top-tier altcoins, mainstream altcoins, non-mainstream altcoins, and pure garbage altcoins from the perspective of market manipulators!
The value of BTC is widely recognized and is the industry benchmark! Just take this year's market as an example, rising from 38500 all the way to 73700, attracting a large number of inexperienced investors, only to enter a lengthy 5-month downward trend, ultimately finishing with a sharp drop below the 50000 mark. From the chart, we can see how skillfully the manipulators operate: fishing! The summary is that while you are disappointed, they give you some hope, and while you are hopeful, they lead you to despair, repeating this cycle for half a year until the final drop below 50000, forcing you to hand over your chips!
Before discussing altcoins, I want to clarify two concepts: What are top-tier altcoins? What are mainstream altcoins?
Top-tier altcoins: $ETH , $XRP , ADA, SOL, BNB... Such projects generally have strong funding, technology, resources, background, and consensus! Strong manipulator coins require the manipulators to control the market and continuously create hype to earn small profits! If you can't distinguish, I have a very simple method that applies to most: experiencing multiple cycles while still maintaining high enthusiasm!
Mainstream altcoins: AVAE, NEAR, UNI, AXS, CRV... Simply put, these projects are slightly inferior to top-tier altcoins in several aspects, but some of these projects may rise to the level of top-tier altcoins during a bull market, which is why I personally enjoy studying these coins; once they break out, the potential for gains is significant, allowing for safe investments while still earning small profits, isn't that appealing?
Finally, let's discuss the harvesting methods of these two types of altcoins. Simply put: they are similar to BTC, but the time spent in high-level fluctuations is less than that of BTC, though there will be some time for players to offload their holdings. If you are naive, a halving in value is the norm! However, I feel that players who understand the market can generally escape in time. I tend to invest heavily in these coins during each round because they are safer! However, the price increases aren't too significant, really!
Lastly, regarding non-mainstream altcoins and garbage altcoins, I suggest you avoid them altogether; they are pure harvesting machines that will leave you wanting more. How to distinguish them? Just check if they are listed on mainstream exchanges!
