Trump posted on social media confirming Bo Hines as the Executive Director of the Presidential Digital Asset Advisory Council, working alongside Chairman David Sacks to promote innovation and development in digital assets.
Bo Hines previously ran for Congress in 2022 with funding from a cryptocurrency-supporting political action committee, but was not successfully elected.
Trump also appointed former Treasury official Stephen Miran as the Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council, who previously stated that excessive regulation could suppress bank lending and innovation in the crypto economy.
