According to The Washington Post, since October, the American conservative think tank National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR) has submitted shareholder proposals requesting Microsoft and Amazon to consider investing in Bitcoin, believing that this would protect these companies and their investors from inflation. The organization stated that more Bitcoin proposals are in the works, and it also believes that promoting the adoption of Bitcoin aligns with its agenda of 'supporting freedom,' as cryptocurrencies are essentially not controlled by the government. Microsoft shareholders have already voted against the Bitcoin investment proposal, while it remains unknown whether Amazon will adopt this strategy.
