According to TechFlow, on December 20, Cointelegraph reported that according to the official notice issued today by the French Financial Markets Authority AMF, Hexarq, the cryptocurrency subsidiary of French Bank BPCE, has been authorized as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP).

After obtaining approval, Hexarq is officially authorized to provide a range of crypto services, including cryptocurrency custody, and the buying, selling and trading of cryptocurrencies against euros.

It is reported that Hexarq will begin to provide cryptocurrency investment services within the Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne networks in 2025.
