The cause of this incident is Wright's $1.15 trillion lawsuit against Bitcoin developer and payment company Square. The court found that he violated a previous order that prohibited him from publicly declaring himself as Satoshi Nakamoto and taking legal action based on this identity.
Wright reportedly intends to appeal this ruling. But don't forget that there is also a coalition of cryptocurrency companies called COPA that is also suing him. They want to officially declare that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto and limit a series of lawsuits he has filed based on this identity.
After a six-week trial, Judge Mellor said that the "evidence is conclusive" and concluded that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, and accused him of deliberately falsifying documents to support his claims. The judge even said that Wright's actions were "fraudulent means" and that he lied extensively to strengthen his identity as the creator of Bitcoin.
