Foresight News reports that MetaMask has announced a pilot program for a cryptocurrency debit card in the United States. The card supports spending at merchants that accept Mastercard, allowing users to pay with USDC, USDT, and wETH on the Linea network, and it can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Foresight News previously reported that the MetaMask Card was launched in August of this year, developed in collaboration with MetaMask, Mastercard, and Baanx (Crypto Life). It is currently available in regions such as the EU, UK, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. This debit card allows direct use of cryptocurrency assets in the wallet, with conversion only at the time of payment. MetaMask stated that it will expand to more regions in the coming months.
