Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has withdrawn its lawsuit against the SEC

After Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek met with elected President Donald Trump a few days ago, the exchange's management decided to withdraw the lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The lawsuit was filed in October 2024 in response to the Commission's warning about potential enforcement actions against the company. In its court statement, Crypto.com accused the agency's officials of overstepping their authority concerning representatives of the crypto industry.

However, the situation has now changed. It is unclear how Marszalek's recent meeting with Donald Trump influenced Crypto.com's decision, but the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange shared some details of the conversation.

Marszalek mentioned that they discussed the future policy of the elected president's administration regarding digital assets, also mentioning the strategic reserve of Bitcoin.
