1. Project Introduction

Kelp DAO is a triple-yield re-staking protocol based on EigenLayer. rsETH is a liquidity re-staking token (LRT) issued by Kelp DAO, designed to provide liquidity for illiquid assets deposited on re-staking platforms (such as EigenLayer).

2. Financing Situation

May 22, 2024: Kelp DAO completed a $9 million private fundraising round, with a valuation of $90 million. Led by Laser Digital and SCB Digital Ventures, with participation from Bankless Ventures, Hypersphere Ventures, Cypher Capital, GSR, HTX Ventures, and other institutions and individuals.

3. Token Distribution

The specific token distribution is as follows:

60% of $KERNEL tokens are allocated to the community and ecosystem partners.

Community Rewards and Airdrops: 55%, with 20% of the total supply designated for airdrops and 35% for future rewards.

Ecosystem and Partners: 5% (including ecosystem partners, market makers, on-chain liquidity, etc.)

Private Sale: 20% (including completed and future private sales)

Team and Advisors: 20%, with team and private sale tokens vesting over 24 months after a 6-month lock-up period post-TGE.

4. Airdrop Details

Season 1 Airdrop (10% of the total supply): All users who receive Kelp Miles/Kernel Points from December 12, 2023, to December 31, 2024, will receive the airdrop.

Season 2 Airdrop (5% of the total supply): All users who will receive miles/points from January 1, 2025, to April 30, 2025.

Season 2 Rewards: Re-staking before January 15, 2025, will earn a 15% loyalty bonus for Season 2 rewards!

All Season 1 re-stakers are eligible for the bonus as they will continue to re-stake in Season 2.
