You wouldn't even dare to imagine, do you know how he spent these three years? He sold some money at the exchange, which resulted in all his accounts being frozen, and even his WeChat, Alipay, and phone card were suspended by the public security authorities. Last weekend, a lawyer friend shared a case with me about someone whose cryptocurrency withdrawal got frozen.
This person traded cryptocurrency for 19,739,254,700 in 2021 and then sold USDT, receiving the illicit funds, which led to his accounts being judicially frozen, and they have remained frozen until now. The freezing authority didn't allow him to go in, and he didn't go either, nor did he care. At the time of the freezing, he only called the freezing authority once and learned that the funds received were from a primary involved account, which means it was directly related to criminal activity, as it was money sent directly by the victim, leading to all his accounts being suspended, and subsequently, his WeChat, Alipay, and phone card were all suspended.
When such a situation arises, it is usually because he was placed on two types of disciplinary lists, or he was placed on a general restriction list, and separately, his WeChat, Alipay, and phone card were also blocked.
In such situations, the lawyer's advice is that it's unnecessary to wait it out; even if they unfreeze your accounts, without a situation explanation, you won't be able to resolve the restrictions on other accounts. To restore the normal status, you first need to check with the local anti-fraud center to see which list you are on. If it’s only on the general restriction list, you need to quickly go to the relevant authority in another location to process the unfreezing and obtain a statement of no involvement in the case. Then, take the statement of no involvement along with the relevant materials back to the local anti-fraud center to submit the materials and remove yourself from the corresponding list.
