BlockBeats news, on December 17, Ethereum domain service provider ENS Labs announced that it has partnered with Linea to build its upcoming Layer2 network Namechain. ENS Labs stated that there are three reasons for choosing Linea to build its network:
· Type 2 zkEVM is fully compatible with Ethereum tools and smart contracts; high-performance proofs and fast state confirmations are crucial for reliable domain name resolution;
· Shared values; their commitment to building on Ethereum ensures that Linea provides the same multi-client diversity that protects the Ethereum mainnet.
· Geth, Besu, Erigon, and Nethermind can all seamlessly synchronize with Linea.
