The Number of Addresses Holding Stablecoins Continues to Grow

According to RWA, there are currently about 133 million unique addresses holding stablecoins. USDT is the most popular with 81.7 million addresses, followed by BUSD (25.8 million) and USDC (18 million).

In 2024, two stablecoins showed particularly noticeable growth: PYUSD and USDe. USDT's capitalization increased by more than 130%, reaching $800 million, and the yield from staking this token exceeded 30%.

USDe also demonstrated impressive results, achieving a yield of 20%. Most of the USDe tokens are listed on the Aave and Pendle DeFi protocols, indicating its active use in decentralized finance.

FDUSD, in turn, is actively used on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Its supply on Ethereum has grown to 1.93 billion tokens, almost double the level of last year. This indicates the growing popularity and demand for FDUSD among users of these networks.
