【Ripple CTO: Anticipates Shortage Upon RLUSD Launch】According to Golden Finance, Ripple's Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz stated that there might be a potential "supply shortage" during the initial launch phase of the stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. He warned investors not to "FOMO". On December 15, Schwartz posted on X that he expects significant volatility immediately after the launch of RippleUSD (RLUSD). Despite the token being designed to maintain a 1:1 parity with the dollar, some large orders are still expected. He pointed out that the value of the yet-to-be-released stablecoin has been artificially inflated by some small-scale pre-launch bids. He responded to a post on X that indicated the value of 1 RLUSD on a Ripple wallet named Xaman was approximately 511 XRP (XRP) – equating to a value of $1244 at current prices.
