According to the Associated Press and the New York Times, Apple (AAPL.O) CEO Tim Cook visited Mar-a-Lago in Florida to meet with President-elect Trump and have dinner on Friday (13th). The New York Times reports that this is the first meeting between the two since Trump won the U.S. election. The Associated Press states that Cook is the latest tech executive to seek contact with the president-elect, joining others such as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The media noted that during Trump’s first term, the relationships of Altman, Zuckerberg, and Bezos with Trump fluctuated, so they are all currently seeking to improve their standing in the eyes of the president-elect.
