Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs extend continuous inflow performance in December

In December 2024, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs consistently recorded strong inflows. For Bitcoin ETFs, 11 funds in the U.S. experienced 12 consecutive trading sessions with positive inflows, starting from November 27, with a total purchase value of 5.3 billion USD. The total inflow into Bitcoin ETF funds in the second week of December reached 2.167 billion USD, bringing total assets owned to over 1.12 million BTC. BlackRock's IBIT led with 1.51 billion USD, 2.5 times that of Fidelity's FBTC. The buying pressure remained steady at 300-600 million USD per day, although it did not reach peak levels as seen at the end of November. Major institutions such as MicroStrategy (2.1 billion USD), MARA (1.1 billion USD), and Riot (510 million USD) also bought more Bitcoin. Regarding Ethereum ETFs, there have been 15 consecutive inflow sessions, with a total value of 855 million USD in the second week of December. BlackRock led with 523 million USD, followed by Fidelity with 259 million USD. November also witnessed record inflows for both Bitcoin ETF (6.5 billion USD) and Ethereum ETF (1.1 billion USD).
