The user claimed they had purchased the device directly from Ledger and followed standard security protocols, including never entering the seed phrase online or signing any malicious transactions.
The timing of the incident, which occurred after two months of inactivity, has prompted discussions about potential security vulnerabilities and user error within the cryptocurrency community. Ledger has not yet responded to the incident report.
