Deep Tide TechFlow News, on December 12, the Base Chain AI Agents ownership layer protocol Virtuals Protocol stated that "an extreme situation has been noted, where developers using certain third-party locked pre-bound proxy tokens are able to access their tokens after binding without locking. Please note that all funds are safe. Thanks to community members for their feedback, a bounty of $10,000 has been provided for this."

Virtuals Protocol stated that it is developing a permanent feature, and in the meantime, builders who wish to lock their tokens before binding can achieve token locking by sending their tokens to a vault (standard lock for 6 months after binding).
