US regulators are seeking comments on NYSE Arca’s request to list its Bitwise exchange-traded fund (ETF) that includes Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH). Bitwise and NYSE filed their filings with the SEC on November 26, and now the SEC is taking the filing to the next level, seeking comments from the industry. The ETF aims to provide investors with balanced access to BTC and ETH.
Crypto index ETFs are the next big focus for issuers after BTC and ETH funds, according to industry analysts. NYSE has also filed to list the Bitwise 10 Crypto Index Fund.
How will the crypto-friendly leadership shift in the US affect the regulatory landscape? We welcome your comments.
