On December 11, PANews reported that the Aave community initiated an ARFC proposal to deploy the Aave V3 protocol on Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 network developed by Consensys. The proposal points out that Linea is based on the zkEVM technology stack, integrating Consensys products such as MetaMask and Infura, which can provide high throughput and fast transaction confirmations while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Ethereum mainnet. In addition, the proposal suggests redistributing the airdrop of the Linea ecosystem to Aave users through liquidity mining and GHO stablecoin incentives. If approved by the community, the deployment plan will enter the snapshot voting phase and coordinate with BGDLabs for implementation.
