In the current bull market, staying calm is key, and holding onto your coins firmly is the way to succeed.
The biggest taboo in trading cryptocurrencies is — impulsiveness. When a bull market arrives and you see certain coins growing several times, it’s hard not to waver: Should I chase? Am I selling too early? This is when you need to stay calm the most. Experienced investors know that profits in a bull market rely on patience, while a bear market is a good time to lay the groundwork.
Don’t be swayed by the fear of missing out. Although it’s tempting to see coin prices double, the market is cyclical. A coin that rises 5 times or even 10 times may still have a lot of chips held by the big players, and they may not continue to push it higher. Blindly chasing high prices can lead to losses. In a bull market, it’s important to take profits promptly and not take unnecessary risks.
Your holdings should be diversified, and don’t greedily concentrate on a single coin. Those who try to get rich quick with heavy investments in one coin often become victims of the big players. The real winners make money through diversification and multi-channel investments. Just like my friend who stocked up on established coins at low prices during the bear market, waiting for them to rise in turn during the bull market, and selling when they reach suitable price points without being greedy.
In a bull market, the focus is on selling, while holding coins for the bear market. During a bull market, the profits from buying are limited; selling is what locks in gains. So don’t rush to buy back the coins you sold. When the bear market comes, for instance in 2026, you can slowly buy them back; such operations are not difficult to surpass ordinary people.
Execution is the key to success. It’s easier said than done, and many people find it hard to achieve. You need to have strong execution skills, act according to plan in the face of market fluctuations, and not be swayed by emotions. A common mistake among beginners is impatience; when entering the cryptocurrency market, it’s even more important to learn to “endure.”
The secret of the bull market lies in the word “persevere.” Don’t let short-term ups and downs disrupt your mood. It’s okay to miss a selling opportunity; being stuck in a loss is the real pain. Remember, in a bull market, the best strategy is to protect your profits and not blindly chase high prices.
