A bullish triangle is a bullish continuation pattern that indicates a continuation of an upward trend. Ascending triangles can be drawn on charts by drawing a horizontal line with the swing highs - resistance - and then drawing an upward trend line with the swing lows - support.
Ascending triangles often have two or more identical peaks which allows us to draw the horizontal line. The trend line indicates the overall upward trend of the pattern, while the horizontal line indicates the historical resistance level for that particular asset.
