78% of Litecoin's turnover is on addresses that have not moved coins for more than 12 months
According to information from IntoTheBlock, the majority of Litecoin tokens (78%) belong to addresses that have not moved coins in over a year. Currently, there are 7.94 million active addresses in the network, and the turnover of LTC over the past 30 days reached $10.27 billion.
Litecoin remains one of the oldest and most active first-layer (L1) networks, significantly ahead of Dogecoin, Cardano, and Avalanche.
Last week, the altcoin reached a peak not seen since July 2022, rising to $145. However, this week the coin corrected to $125 as a slight market correction occurred.
Traders expected the range of $115-$110$ to keep LTC afloat, but the coin broke support at $110$ and is trading near it. The strongest support zone is at $100, and most analysts expect the decline to stop at this level.
