PANews reported on December 9, according to Forbes, that former FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) is serving a 25-year sentence at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York after being convicted of fraud. He is currently writing a prison diary and plans to sell it to the media. The diary records details of his life in prison, including the discomfort caused by the lack of pillows, interactions with other inmates, and the abuse of the drug 'Deuce' within the prison.
SBF also criticized the prison for lacking clocks, which led to a loss of sense of time, and detailed his experience of trading with prisoners for a temporary pillow. Meanwhile, he mentioned that he meets with a legal assistant every day and keeps in touch with his lawyer father via video. SBF's diary describes the prison culture from an observer's perspective, reflecting his struggle to adapt to a new life and his deep reflections on freedom and identity.
