✍🏻 The SEC has notified at least two of the five potential Solana-ETF issuers about the rejection of their documents.
According to Eleanor Terrett from FOX Business, the consensus of the regulator is that it does not intend to consider new cryptocurrency ETFs under the current administration.
Notably, the SEC recently accepted Bitwise's application for a cryptocurrency index ETF, which includes a 4% stake in Solana, noted ETF Store head Nate Geraci. Approval of spot SOL funds (and possibly more) is likely just a matter of time.
