In the midst of Bitcoin's passing of $100,000, the Financial Times issued a public apology for criticizing the first cryptocurrency. For years, the publication wrote that BTC is not an efficient asset.

“I'm sorry if you've ever decided not to buy something over the last 14 years because of our coverage and then the price of it went up. It's nice when your number goes up. And I'm sorry if you mistook our crypto-skepticism for support for traditional finance, because we hate it too," the message reads.

Judging by the post, the publication took this step after numerous comments from their readers who wrote that the FT should apologize for its publications.

On the night of December 5, Bitcoin crossed the $100,000 mark. Currently, the first cryptocurrency is trading at $99,000.
