According to Foresight News, the perpetual contract platform Perennial announced the launch of Perennial Intents and the Petals Program at X. Perennial Intents uses a two-layer design and is an intent layer for fast and accurate off-chain order matching, enabling secure and capital-efficient on-chain execution of the AMM settlement layer. Perennial also launched a Petals Program event, where the more transactions you make, the more petals you get. You can check and claim your rewards on the app every week, and there will be a 2x Petals Program bonus in the first week of the event.
Perennial is a derivatives protocol based on Arbiturm. The project completed US$12 million in financing in October 2022, led by Polychain Capital and Variant, with participation from Archetype, Coinbase Ventures and others.
