Kim Min-ki announced that starting from the 4th, access to the National Assembly building will be completely prohibited for employees of the Ministry of Defense and police officers. He said, "This is an emergency measure to protect the personal safety of National Assembly members and ensure the functionality of the National Assembly."

Kim Min-ki stated that the National Assembly will "thoroughly assess the physical damages and other losses resulting from the declaration of martial law" and will hold those responsible for illegal actions accountable. He also mentioned that, according to current information, the incident has resulted in injuries to National Assembly staff, and they are currently compiling the exact number and extent of injuries.
