Wu said that the Ethereum Foundation announced the 2024 Q3 funding project report, allocating approximately $12.8488 million to support projects and activities in multiple areas. Among them, community education, developer experience and tools, zero-knowledge proofs and cryptography, consensus layer, and Layer 2 have become key funding areas. Community education projects account for the largest share, including the EEA Industry Day held in Bangkok, Thailand, the ETH Pura Vida conference and hackathon held in San Jose, Costa Rica, and other activities. In the technical field, the foundation has supported ongoing development of Web3.js and research focused on optimizing the performance of the Ethereum consensus layer through Lighthouse. At the same time, projects in the ZKP field, such as Circuitscan and Rapidsnark Mobile Prover, have also received funding to enhance the application development capabilities of privacy technologies.
