As we prepare for Mainnet, significant progress has been made across our technical stack. Our network is experiencing increased activity as the COTI team tests core infrastructure and our Remix Plugin will soon support testnet. Let’s dive in.

Network metrics for November reflect the heightened activity of developers on the COTI team testing our infrastructure — a critical step in our Mainnet preparation. In addition, we have seen growing adoption of our development tools, particularly the Python SDK. The metrics for the period of 2nd — 18th November show:

  • Smart contract deployments: Up 725%

  • Transaction volume: Increased by 247%

  • Python SDK downloads: Rose by 153%

  • Kapa AI chatbot usage: Grew by 31%

  • coti-contracts adoption: Increased by 20%

With robust infrastructure validation by our developer community well underway, we’re also expanding our developer toolset to make web3 privacy features more accessible than ever before.

Let’s look at the latest infrastructure improvements driving us toward Mainnet.

Security Audits and Infrastructure Hardening Underway

We’re implementing comprehensive infrastructure improvements to ensure maximum reliability and security. Our partnership with Hacken is now underway, with security audits for both smart contracts and protocol code. This represents a crucial step toward Mainnet readiness.

The team has also developed extensive disaster recovery procedures and contingency plans. These measures ensure the network can maintain optimal uptime, even under challenging conditions — a must-have for enterprise adoption.

Remix Enhancements and Improved Documentation

Work is ongoing on the COTI Remix Plugin to support testnet, allowing developers to test privacy features directly within Ethereum’s most popular IDE. This integration aims to simplify the development workflow for privacy-preserving smart contracts.

Our SDK suite has also seen significant updates. The latest releases include enhanced cryptographic operations and comprehensive string-handling capabilities across both TypeScript and Python implementations. This enables developers to perform more sophisticated private data operations while maintaining the simplicity they expect.

Additionally, the documentation has been extensively updated based on partner feedback, featuring new examples that illustrate privacy feature implementation patterns as demonstrated in our recent developer call. More extensive documentation on these use cases can be expected in the near future.

Our Focus Shifts to COTI Mainnet Preparation

As we approach Mainnet, our efforts remain focused on strengthening core infrastructure and expanding developer resources. Upcoming milestones include:

  • The full release of COTI Remix Plugin. This release will integrate privacy features directly into developers’ familiar workflow. We are also enhancing our SDKs based on community feedback, prioritizing improvements to developer experience.

  • Expanded Documentation. New resources will provide greater detail on core privacy primitives, helping developers better understand and implement privacy features in their applications.

For developers interested in learning more about these updates as we progress toward Mainnet, you can watch our latest developer community call here, where we discuss these advancements in detail.
