I have always advised everyone to become content producers rather than consumers.
However, the most important thing for becoming a content producer is to choose the right track.
I believe that if you choose the wrong track, no matter how hard you work, it won't matter.
Let me point out a few things.
First: For ordinary people, the chosen track should ideally be in an industry with long-term market demand that is becoming increasingly popular.
For example, doctors, education, finance, law, health-related fields, including traffic operators, these industries become more valuable as you accumulate experience.
Second: There is also resource accumulation.
Your work should give you the opportunity to accumulate resources, such as in operations, where you can accumulate influencer resources. Working in insurance can also be a way to accumulate high-end clients, while in e-commerce, the supply chain is key, which is another form of accumulation.
The more resources you accumulate, the more valuable you become in the market.
Choosing the right track is the first step, but it doesn't mean you can do well.
For example, I think the education track is a good one, but many people believe that fewer children are born, and competition in education is becoming increasingly fierce.
In my personal view, education is becoming more segmented. For instance, if you go to any community or gym, there are teachers teaching children how to jump rope, swim, and play basketball.
This represents an increasing number of niche markets. In our parents' generation, who would be willing to spend money for us to learn these things?
Moreover, competition is certainly fierce, but there are many who do not know how to succeed.
Some people have a very heavy model, some do not know how to increase high unit prices, and some do not understand what high-end clients need, hence they do not know how to market.
In summary, choosing the right track is the top priority. Next, you need to know how to create content for your chosen track, update what topics to discuss, and how to find your audience. This is a very important skill.
If you are working on your own track and are interested, feel free to communicate. I update a lot of similar content on my social media (note it down).
