Recently, someone commented on my article, calling Flux a "shitcoin." But is that really the case?
On the contrary, Flux is simply undervalued and is far from being a shitcoin. Yet, I can’t help but feel sad for those who cannot differentiate between a true “shitcoin” and a valuable but underappreciated project. Maybe it’s time for a little education.
What is a "Shitcoin"?
1. No Real Use Case: Most shitcoins lack tangible applications and rely on speculation to maintain market hype. (Yes, I’m talking about you, the recently hyped Meme coins, hyped up with empty promises. Anything real? Not a thing.)
2. Opaque Teams or Weak Technology: Development teams are non-transparent, project progress is unclear, and innovation is nearly non-existent.
3. High Speculativeness: Sudden spikes and crashes in value, with no clear long-term direction.
How is Flux Different?
1. Positioning and Practicality
- Real-World Use Case: Flux is a decentralized cloud computing platform that competes with traditional cloud services like AWS and Azure. It supports Web3 infrastructure by offering distributed computing power, decentralized storage, and hosting solutions.
- Technological Innovation: Its infrastructure, through FluxOS and FluxNodes, supports DApps and enterprise needs with a clear focus on utility. (I’ve written in-depth about this in past articles—check them out if you’re curious.)
2. Partnerships and Achievements
- Industry Recognition: Flux is a certified vendor under the UK Government's G-Cloud framework, one of the few Web3 projects to achieve such official endorsement. (It has also won numerous industry awards and shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the sector. With government backing from the UK, I’m curious where exactly people see the "shitcoin" in this. These honors rival even some projects in the top 30 rankings.)
- Key Collaborations: Flux has partnered with Akash, Kadena, and others, while also joining Nvidia's Inception Program, showcasing strong industry support and recognition.
3. Ecosystem Development
- Global Node Network: Over 25,000 distributed nodes across multiple countries, demonstrating strong and scalable network infrastructure.
- Complete Ecosystem Support: Flux offers a comprehensive range of products, including:
- Flux OS: An operating system tailored for decentralized cloud operations.
- Flux Core: Resource management solutions.
- Flux Marketplace: For resource leasing.
- Zelcore Wallet: A multi-asset Web3 wallet that I’ve personally used since 2020. Managing my digital assets has never been easier, showcasing the team’s technical prowess.
- Flux AI: A Web3-based AI management platform.
- Upcoming Projects: Flux Exchange and Project Arcane are poised to move beyond beta testing, offering even more opportunities.
Now tell me—what does a Shitcoin have to compare with Flux?
- Multi-Chain Compatibility: Support for multiple blockchains, enabling greater adoption by developers.
The Verdict
Shitcoins pale in comparison to Flux, which boasts clear ecosystem goals, technical support, and long-term planning. While its market performance hasn’t yet reached its potential, this is largely due to underappreciation in the market and the early-stage development of the Web3 sector. Historically, projects like $BTC
and $SOL
were also undervalued in their early days.
So, my advice is: DYOR (Do Your Own Research). I understand that everyone has different perceptions and risk appetites, and not everyone will agree with my views. If Flux isn’t for you, feel free to chase your Meme coins. But please, don’t slander a project like Flux. As the saying goes, "A lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth." Don’t prevent others who are genuinely interested in Flux from exploring its potential. For me, I believe that Flux is unmatched in the Web3 space, leaving all its competitors far behind.
Thank you.
