First, you need to understand what inscriptions are?
"Inscriptions" is a concept closely related to the Bitcoin ecosystem, originating from the Ordinals protocol.
It allows users to embed permanent metadata or small files on the Bitcoin blockchain, such as images, text, and other digital content.

Casey Rodarmor launched the Ordinals protocol in 2023, giving the Bitcoin network a new opportunity: by numbering each Satoshi and integrating SegWit and Taproot technologies, metadata or files can be embedded in a single transaction.
This innovation is considered Bitcoin's version of "NFT" (non-fungible tokens), although its implementation differs from Ethereum's NFT technology.

According to market statistics in 2024, the total number of inscriptions has exceeded millions.
BN launched Ordinals (ORDI) on November 7, 2023, at 18:00 (UTC+8), and the Bitcoin ecosystem has once again fallen into frenzy.
On March 9, over 30,000 "inscriptions" were minted, with nearly 27,000 being textual inscriptions.
Recently, I noticed many bloggers still saying inscriptions are garbage.
