According to Foresight News, Worldcoin has launched a new World ID passport authentication system (Passport Credential), which is currently being piloted in some countries such as Chile, Colombia, Malaysia and South Korea. World ID allows individuals to connect a valid form of ID (starting from an NFC-enabled passport) without sharing any information with TFH, the World Foundation or any other third party.
Additionally, the World Foundation is offering WLD tokens to individuals with a valid World ID passport. Individuals who currently verify their World ID on Orb are eligible to receive a total of approximately 51.69 WLD. Individuals who have added verified passport credentials are eligible to receive additional WLD, regardless of whether they have verified their World ID on Orb.
