Seeing @GOATRollup include $DOGE, the oldest MEME Coin with the strongest community consensus, in its decentralized sequencer pledge asset list, although it is not a big news, it contains many extraordinary meanings:
1) DOGE, a first-generation MEME coin known as a “joke coin” and full of sarcasm and ridicule, has been fully “empowered” by other hardcore technology projects in the Crypto field.
DOGE holders can pledge tokens to the decentralized Sequencer system of the GOAT network to obtain native BTC income. Choosing "Thanksgiving Day", GOAT Network embraced $DOGE and sounded the rallying call for this round of MEME Cycle. From then on, hardcore technology projects and MEME COIN are no longer completely isolated, and technical consensus and social consensus are trying to merge;
2) GOAT Network, which will be launched on the mainnet soon, is the first BTCFi application backed by @ProjectZKM. It has multiple hard-core technical features such as Native secure cross-chain bridge, the first decentralized sequencer system, and OCP optimistic challenge proof based on BitVM2. It can be regarded as a representative of hard-core technology projects in the BTC ecosystem;
3) There are two possible reasons why $DOGE can be included as a pledge token:
1. DOGE and BTC have the same token standards and technical framework. The security of the GOAT network needs to rely on native $BTC staking. Similarly, $DOGE can be included for double security protection; (Inclusion criteria: more than 10B FDV and more than 300,000+ coin holders)
2. Although the GOAT network can provide sustainable yield for BTC assets, it is willing to actively embrace MEME and the huge community behind DOGE Coin. GOAT has taken the first step and opened up a new application paradigm for MEME coins. There are also many projects that want to embrace MEME, but it is rare to find a way to integrate them in a non-obtrusive and mutually beneficial way;
4) In the design of the security economic model of the GOAT network, the POS pledge system provides network security.
