Hyperliquid plans to launch the HYPE token on November 29

Hyperliquid has confirmed that the HYPE token will officially launch at 14:30 Vietnam time on November 29, 2024. This will be the genesis event for this project, marking an important milestone in the development of their decentralized trading platform. The HYPE token will serve as the main staking currency and as gas fees within the HyperEVM network environment.

During this event, 31% of the total token supply, or 310 million HYPE, will be distributed to eligible users through airdrop. The total supply of HYPE will be capped at 1 billion tokens with no allocation for individual investors or exchanges, ensuring transparency and fairness in the distribution process.

Additionally, users will have the opportunity to receive a special NFT named Hypurr to commemorate the launch of HyperEVM on the mainnet.
