Deep Tide TechFlow News, November 27, according to an official announcement, Tether has announced that it will stop supporting the euro stablecoin EUR₮, and stated that it will no longer accept new EUR₮ issuance requests after processing the last minting request in 2022. Holders need to complete redemptions by November 27, 2025.

Tether stated that this decision is based on the evolution of the regulatory framework for stablecoins in the European market. The company will focus on new businesses, including supporting Quantoz Payments in issuing EURQ and USDQ stablecoins that comply with MiCAR regulations. These stablecoins will be supported by Tether's newly launched Hadron technology platform.
